Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that Ninjas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of laser-sharks danced in their heads. And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The Ninjas came running in pairs Each flighting up roves and flying up stairs The doves went flying as katana went too The christmas delivery was almost through The warriors, shadowed by night Each called one by one, disappearing in a single flash of light Leaving the snow sparkling, done As if almost untouched By the ones who had run.
